Ariodante Suite (Full Score)

Masterfully arranged, this delightful three-movement suite from Handel's opera Ariodante makes use of symphonic capabilities as it explores musical characteristics of the Baroque style. Students will learn to play light and elegant melodies with a bright, clean and clear sound. The first two movements are arrangements of dances from a ballet sequence and the final movement is an arrangement of the instrumental introduction to the final chorus of the opera. Teaching opportunities abound in this contest/festival piece!
