Piano Technology Lecture Presented by Brian Opdahl

Brian Opdahl has been serving our region’s piano and tuning needs for decades. Over that time, he has learned a thing or two about how pianos really work, and he’s excited to share his wisdom in this session! Piano Technology refers to:

  • The science and art of building and maintaining pianos.
  • The design and construction of a piano.
  • The repair of the various components that make up a piano including the soundboard, strings, hammers, action, and pedals.

Ensemble Piano Recital

The Ensemble Piano Recital will consist of 4-6 hand pieces performed by a mix of Popplers Music Lessons Instructors and the UND Piano Studio!

For most pianists, studying piano is a solo pursuit with many hours alone practicing. With piano ensemble repertoire, we get to share the stage with fellow pianists. Cap off the day enjoying a recital featuring piano duets and trios!
