Yamaha P-125 Digital Piano Overview

Welcome to Popplers Music. My name is Josh. Let’s talk pianos.

Today, we are going to be looking at the Yamaha P-125 keyboard. The P-125 is part of Yamaha’s portable keyboard series. The P-125 has Yamaha’s graded hammer standard keyboard action. The sound sampling is from Yamaha’s CF sound engine. In summary, the P-125 has a very nice weighted action keyboard, has a nice sound sample, has recording capabilities, and is nice for anyone looking to get started with piano or looking to get back to piano with an option under $1,000.

There’re multiple different ways to set up the P-125 as it is a portable keyboard. You could have the P-125 on an X stand and keep the pedal that it comes with. You can put the P-125 on an X stand and purchase a single sustained pedal that’s more like that of an acoustic piano. You can take the P-125 and put it on a stylish side stand and keep the pedal that comes with the piano. Once again, you can have it upgraded and have a single sustained pedal with an acoustic piano. You can also put the piano on a side stand and have a nice three-pedal unit.

With all of these options, there’s also two benches that are most popular with the P-125: the classic X bench or our BB1 wooden bench.

Please check out some of the examples that played with the P-125:
