Yamaha YDP-103 Console Digital Piano Overview

Welcome to Popplers Music. My name is Josh. Let’s talk pianos.

For over 100 years, Yamaha has crafted the grand pianos fit for the most prestigious concert halls. Yamaha Arius series recreates the touch and the sound of Yamaha’s iconic grand pianos to fit your home and your life.

The Arius series is known for its sleek design, intuitive features, and advanced technology that you’ve come to expect from Yamaha. The YDP-103 is our most affordable concert digital piano, but you will be surprised at the technology, sound, and touch that’s tucked away in this concert digital piano.

Some of the main features on the YDP-103 include Yamaha’s AWM sampling, half damper control with the sustain pedal, ten different instrument sounds, intuitive controls and navigation of the digital options on the piano with one button, or with Yamaha’s Smart Pianist app, and a nice furniture cabinet which includes a matching bench.

Let’s take a closer look at some of the features offered on the YDP-103.

Yamaha’s state of the art recording method recreates the iconic Yamaha CFX sound, no concert hall required. Graceful curves and a stylish design helps the Arius series look great in any home. Weighted keys reproduce the responsive controlled touch you’ve come to expect in a Yamaha acoustic piano.

Yamaha’s innovative virtual resonance modeling, short VRM, recreates the resonance of the soundboard, rim, and frame to emulate the natural feeling of an acoustic piano, even while we’re wearing headphones.

Practice duets, or quietly with a teacher, or have a friend listen in, dual headphone jacks allow for more than one person to listen to the piano silently.

Selecting voices and choosing settings is easier than ever. Simply connect your smart device by USB and use Yamaha’s Smart Pianist app to help you do it.

Piano and strings, bass and guitar, French horn and cello, dual voice mode lets you play two voices at the same time for nearly infinite musical expression.

Arius makes it easy to record yourself, play along, and share your performances. Record the right hand so you can practice the left. Listen back to hear your progression and more. The possibilities are endless. Arius series makes it easy to record and share your performances.

Yamaha’s proprietary synthetic ebony and ivory key tops have a natural comfortable feel that players of all levels can’t wait to get their hands on.
