Mark Hayes and John Parker have combined their considerable talents to create a unique and spirited Christmas choral with a Celtic flavor. Modal harmonies and driving keyboard accompaniment enhance the excitement. Unison and 2-part voices tell the story, while full choir sings the refrain, "Gloria! Glory be to God on high!" Additional parts for recorder and violin alone, or with bass, drums and synthesizer, and a full performance/accompaniment CD, are available separately.
