Howard Helvey has created a luscious setting of the beloved Holst carol In the Bleak Midwinter. With fresh, lush harmonies in the organ and text painting in the optional flute and handbells outlining the traditional melody in the voices, this work promises to be the highpoint of many Christmas Eve services.
