The Wells Responses for upper voices and organ accompaniment were first performed at Choral Evensong during the new music wells 68-08 festival on Friday 13th June 2008, by the Girl Choristers of Wells Cathedral, with Samuel Hudson, organ, conducted by the Organist & Master of the Choristers, Matthew Owens.
