This item is out of print and is no longer available. Groovy Music is a series of exciting software programs for elementary and middle school students. Groovy Shapes is the first of the three programs, and is designed for ages 5 to 7. It teaches the basics of sound, rhythm, pitch and composition using pictures and animation. The Explore section includes voiceover instructions to guide students through a series of progressive exercises that teach them about basic music concepts. They then put into practice what they've learned by creating their own music in the Create section. On Windows Vista and Windows 7, Groovy Music should be run in Windows XP compatibility mode.
