Written for unaccompanied choir, this piece is a setting of an extract from Christian Ethicks or Divine Moralitie by Thomas Traherne, a 17th century English poet and writer. Commissioned for The Tallis Scholars and first performed on 3 November 2023 at Middle Temple Hall, London, conducted by Peter Phillips.
