The traditional English carol, "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" and the French carol, "Noel Nouvelet" (complete with the original French lyrics as an option) are paired together with an enhancing Flute part to create one of the most memorable, arrangements for the holiday season. The minor mode is the perfect backdrop for the 'noels' which are creatively filtered through-out both carols. This piece works equally well in both school and church settings.
