Every year Arnold Sherman writes an original composition for the graduating seniors in his youth handbell choir at Pollard Memorial United Methodist Church in Tyler, Texas. GAUDEAMUS was the 1994 selection. This 3-6 octave original composition requires the following for a good performance: lots of energy, a good sense of rhythm and a willingness to express the joyfulness held with it's 75 measures.
