Steven Stucky's newest choral work is based on enticing text by poet Kate Light, incorporating dreamy lines such as: "Gravity's trembling blue dream of sky / of leap without landing, of above, of fly / of fleet and seamless scrawl to where / to whoo to howl to wind to why." In addition, Gravity's Dream is the final publication in Theodore Presser Company's prestigious Ithaca College Choral Series.
