This anthology contains twenty traditional rounds from America, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary, Holland, Israel, Japan, Morocco, and South Africa. All have English text and many are written in the native language with a phonetic pronunciation guide. These delightful songs are fun to sing and can also be incorporated into geography or social studies units. They can serve as a springboard to a study of the many cultures found around the world. They can also be custom tailored to suit the needs of many specific groups. If using the piano accompaniment or singing a cappella, the rounds may be repeated as many times as desired or necessary. If using the accompaniment cassette, instructions are included for repeating each selection. The score contains reproducible singer parts.
