New music for the viola! Each of these four musical depictions of the composer's childhood memories (at the beach, on chilly autumn days, practicing Bach and in solitude) last 4 minutes for a total duration of 16 minutes. This work is available in three versions: viola and piano, viola and chamber orchestra, and viola and full orchestra.
