Winner of the 2007 VocalEssence Carol Competition, this flowing setting of a 16th century anonymous text features the shimmering sounds of a celesta as it echoes and comments upon the vocal phrases, creating a magical and mysterious atmosphere. It may also be performed with piano or other keyboard instrument.
