The title of this piece, Three and Three-Quarters, is not meant as some hidden cryptic message, but simply that of three performers getting together for some musical fun in three-quarter time. It is a lighthearted work, hence the subtitle "A Trivial Trifle." This piece is sold as a like-instrument ensemble (3 flutes, 2 trombones, etc) but it can be combined with other like-instrument groups to form mixed ensembles - purchase the flute, clarinet and trombone books and you can create a mix and match trio.
