In recent years, the Three Days (Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter) have regained prominence, but few musical works deal with them as a whole. This anthem begins to fill that gap. Pairing a text by Sister Delores Dufner with a Southern Harmony tune, Michael Burkhardt gives us a simple and effective setting well suited for Maundy (Holy) Thursday use.
