Trois chansons de campagne ("Three Songs of the Countryside") introduces young musicians to the folk music of the French countryside. The three tunes are Ton moulin ("Your Windmill"), Chevaliers de la table ronde ("Knights of the Round Table"), and Vive la compagnie ("Long Live the Company"). A mixture of pizzicato and arco bowing techniques makes this arrangement an excellent teaching tool for younger string ensembles.
