Ten short, whimsical piano pieces based on “terms” from Lewis Carroll’s poem of the same name. The charming music matches the mood of the term selected and is in a contemporary but tonal musical language. Of moderate difficulty, perhaps somewhat easier for an accomplished pianist. The movements are “’Twas Brillig,” “Gyre and Gimble,” ”Mimsy Borogroves,” ”Jubjub Bird,” “Frumious Bandersnatch,” “The Tumtum Tree,” “The Jabberwock,” “The Vorpal Blade,” “Galumphing Back,” and “O Frabjous Day!” Commissioned by and dedicated to Harvey H.
