This arrangement skillfully combines simplified versions of themes from Beethoven's Symphony No. 5, Dvorak's New World Symphony, and Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture. Definitely take advantage of the optional timpani for the added drama (including canon fire during the 1812!) This music sounds rich and full while retaining the essence of the original masterpieces. This is a great way to introduce your students to these great masterworks!
