Commissioned by high school students to commemorate a tragic loss of life in their midst, “Lead Me On” is a benediction of sorts, though not exclusive to any religion or denomination. Even in a secular setting, the piece invites us to look beyond our boundaries and to understand the profound effect music and beauty can have on our world.
