Ballet No. 1 - Popplers Music

Composed in the late 1700’s, this ballet is dance music that comes from Joseph Bologne’s only surviving opera, L’Amont Anonyme. Often compared to Mozart, Bologne's writing is both playful and refined. Originally for chamber orchestra, this arrangement is accessible to younger players while maintaining the spirit and integrity of the piece, creating a gateway for young musicians to the wonderful world of Bologne’s music.
