Pipings! As early as the 13th century, the "playing of the pipe and taborö was quite popular. Today, however, we are more concerned with the "playing of the organ pipes.ö This new collection of "roof raisers,ö which makes use of nearly all the pipes, is suitable for festive preludes and postludes. It contains 7 joyous and stirring hymn settings. Also included are arrangements of the exciting Widor TOCCATA, Handel's THE TRUMPET SHALL SOUND and Elgar's POMP & CIRCUMSTANCE. The music is moderately difficult, printed on three staves, with registration for pipe, electronic, HAMMOND organs. Compiled by Dorothy Wells
