Three About Jesus: A Triptych

Laudes Domine is envisioned as a musical sunrise beginning gently and rising to a fortissimo climax, “May Jesus Christ be praised”.

Duke Street offers a countercultural portrait of Jesus as a gentle monarch. This setting that could work especially well as an “organ stanza” in hymn singing or in contrast paired with a more jubilant setting of the hymn tune.

Gordon is a gentle, warm setting of the beloved gospel hymn “My Jesus I Love Thee”.
