A prelude for the Christmas season on the familiar, happy Bohemian tune NARODIL SE KRISTUS PÁN. This piece opens vigorously with interplay between the two trumpets and organ. It moves to an expansive, slow section for the trumpets against strings and French Horn on the organ, and concludes with a jaunty and powerful section which calls for solo reeds and full organ. This piece satisfies the need for a festive beginning to a Christmas worship service or a Christmas concert.
