Voicing: SSATTBB a cappella
Based on the tune JUDEA by the American composer William Billings. The setting of this traditional text retains the delightful rhythmic energy and open harmonies that are such well known qualities of Billings’ music. Though much of the piece contains divisi in the choral writing, the parts are easily learned and are attainable by the average choir.
