The piece begins with a gentle, prayerful choral statement of the Vater unser ("Our Father, who art in heaven") text which is repeated at various times with a soprano soloist added above offering English prayers. The text is taken from Gracia Grindal as well as Martin H. Franzmann. A very creative and deeply spiritual a cappella composition.
