Commissioned for the 1999 Papal mass in St. Louis. A song of thanksgiving, expressing themes of wisdom literature. Variety of uses. The 23 verses of the psalm are set to 13 musical verses, four different refrains provided. Setting may be performed with only assembly, cantor, and keyboard. The optional instrumentation and choir parts provide an added dimension. Part of the Cathedral Series.
