Lugsana (Prayer) appears near the end of Laimes Reiboni (Money Fever), a musical by Andrejs Jansons that opened at the Hostos Theater in New York City in July, 1997. The story tells of the evils that money and riches can bring and what various people will do in order to obtain it. Lugsana praises those who bring light and love into the world – riches of a different and higher order.
