Written for minimal instrumentation, this quartet provides an great sound for small ensembles. It is wriitten in 5/4. The themes in this piece are inspired by percussively driven action-adventure films of the past. Instrumentation: xylophone, chimes, snare drum, concert bass drum, four timpani.
