Inspired by the symphonic scherzos of Beethoven and Dvorák, composer Andrew Boysen Jr. delivers Scherzo No. 2. Following the formal structure of a traditional scherzo and trio, the composer deviates slightly and layers the themes in the final section before rushing to a dynamic conclusion.
