Words and Music by Marta Keen Arranged by Jay Althouse
Sheer poetry! This anthem of timeless beauty opens quietly with a haunting, folk-like melody sung by a soloist (opt. section) and the simplest of accompaniments. Singing of the pilgrim on life's journey, it gradually builds through powerful choral writing: "Christ, my one Lord and Master, guide each step of my way." The return of the soloist signals the simple yet dramatic farewell.
