Timothy Loest's Skeleton Crew tells the spooktacular story of a weathered cabal of gravediggers who work through the night. Minor themes, dark harmonies, and interesting sound effects like scraping shovels depicted by the guiro will transport your audience from the concert hall to the cemetery, where the full moon casts an eerie glow over whitewashed headstones. Chopin's famous Funeral March pays an unexpected visit, adding to the paranormal atmosphere. What grim, terrifying secrets lie beneath the vile dirt? What ghostly encounters or disturbing discoveries await? Fun to perform at any time, this one is especially suitable for your fall concert!
