Dan Forrest's original setting of this tune was written as a memorial work for President John F. Kennedy. This revoicing for male chorus is scored with optional audience/congregation with keyboard or orchestra. Particularly fitting for academic male choruses, the piece may also find use in worship settings or community gatherings.
