Setting traditional text by William B. Tappan, Timothy P. Cooper's music paints a vivid picture of Jesus in the garden of Gethsemane through rich, expressive harmonies and choral textures. It also provides the opportunity for sophisticated musical interpretation. This anthem perfectly complements the meditative atmosphere of the Lenten season.
