Building on the success of previous releases in Lowell Liebermann’s series of haunting nocturnes, Theodore Presser Company is delighted to release another installment: Nocturne No. 11, op. 112. Commissioned by Mark Wolffer in memory of his father, Christian Wolffer, this steady, contemplative work for solo piano was premiered by William Hobbs at the Wolffer Estate Vineyard, Sagaponack, New York, as part of the Music Festival of the Hamptons in July of 2010.
