This gentle piece, inspired by a Japanese folk song and featuring lyrics by Robert Louis Stevenson, beautifully captures the serene imagery of winter’s snowfall. As snow softly blankets the trees, it creates the illusion of 'little snow flowers' blooming in the quiet of the season. An optional flute part adds a delicate, airy quality, enhancing the piece’s light, wintry feel.
