This book includes 6 easy junkyard ensembles that are perfect for classroom music classes and instrumental groups. Performance notes for each piece explain style characteristics and playing techniques. Preparatory exercises are also included. All pages are reproducible for groups of any size, and each piece is playable by buckets alone, by buckets and garbage cans, or by buckets, garbage cans and auxiliary instruments (hi hat, claves, etc.). Traditional percussion instruments may also be used on any part. Skills learned in these pieces are aligned with beginning percussion methods while meeting the national and state learning standards.
