This reflective setting of the standard hymn tune is an excellent choice for a worship or memorial service. A slow tempo and minimal bell changes allow this selection to be learned quickly. The quiet introduction emerges again at the end to reinforce the text, reminding the listener of God’s abiding presence in life and death.
