A violinist of eminence, Jean Baptiste Senaille ranked as one of the best performers of his time in France. Five books of sonatas are included among his many compositions which show the influence of Corelli. Allegro, from Senaille's Violin Sonata No. 4, is here skillfully arranged by Belisario Errante for string orchestra.
