Ten highlights of musical literature, from the beginning of the 16th century to the 19th century, are explored in turn, including Mr. Dowland's Midnight (John Dowland) · Amazing Grace (Trad.) · Kemp's Jig (Anon.) · Tordiglione (Carlo Calvi) · Mascarade (Robert de Visée) and Melodie (Robert Schumann). The guitar is ideal as an accompanying instrument and performing with a guitarist is inspiring and educational. If, however, there is no guitarist available, you can always use the enclosed CD. It features complete demo tracks and also play-along tracks with just the guitar accompaniment.
