The plainchant Veni Creator is woven in and out of the musical texture of this short but somewhat extended anthem for the season of Pentecost, and the organ has a prominent part. This is a work of moderate difficulty for this somewhat neglected liturgical season. It can also be sung at ordinations, baptisms, weddings or stands alone as a concert work.
