The ultimate book/CD package for the first year instrumental student, JumpStart includes 12 graded songs that use only the notes that most students learn during their first year of playing. The accompaniment CD features music in a variety of styles with real musicians performing. Each song is recorded twice, once with the melody and then again with just the accompaniment. JumpStart also includes interesting facts about each piece, along with important reminders about good posture, correct hand position and proper breathing.
