This revised edition is based on the first print edition, due to the fact that some important deviations from the autograph to the first edition were authorized by Ravel himself. In 2013 a new source became available: a copy of the first edition including corrections and modifications made by Lucien Garban, Ravel's friend and editor at Durand.
