Poolside is a gorgeous ballad that works for all levels of jazz ensemble. The very moderate ranges make it accessible, and allow the focus to be on the trademark “Basie” ballad style. Rhythm parts are fully notated, and a written piano solo is provided. Written ranges: trumpet G5, trombone F4.
