The cross is central to the Christian faith. This collection is comprised of hymns focused on the cross of Christ. These arrangements are particularly appropriate for the season of Lent and specifically for Holy Week. However, they may also be good considerations for services of communion or throughout the church year. Sample hymns include "Beneath the Cross of Jesus," "Lead Me to Calvary," "The Old Rugged Cross," and "When I Survey the Wondrous Cross," among others.
