Expressive singing is needed in this arrangement of Grieg's poignant “Homesickness” paired with the introspective text of William McComb’s “Chief of Sinners Though I Be.” The voices are often presented in pairs and sometimes treated canonically. The sparse piano accompaniment has typical Grieg harmonies. A reflective and beautiful piece.
