This simple and tuneful anthem meets two needs with its poetic imagery. An ideal choice for Christ the Shepherd Sunday, it can also be quite effective for services where there is a moment to honor our earthly shepherds and ministers. A very sweet anthem, the tender That’s What a Shepherd Is For is sure to tug at the heartstrings.
