Ruth's artful setting of the Sara Teasdale poem is a stunning choice for concert or festival. A lyrical, flowing accompaniment supports the graceful, beautiful choral sonorities, with the floating soprano notes representing the stars in the sky. This ethereal quality is most effective as is the conversational interplay between the voices. It is also an excellent programming choice for graduation.
