Violoncello, Piano A 25th anniversary gift for the Fischer Duo, Jones' Sonata is a three-movement marriage of two chords, two strong individuals, which ultimately resolve into a unique and different chord, which Jones describes as "symbolizing what happens when the two people have created a new, unified life together." The middle movement uses a quote from Beethoven's 7th Symphony, a work which held special meaning to the couple, and Jones uses it here to wonderful effect. For advanced performers. Dur.: 21'
